Šibenik is the oldest native city on the Adriatic Sea, affectionately known as "Krešimir's city", as it was first mentioned in 1066 in a gift document of Petar Krešimir IV.

Strolling through the magical Šibenik, you will discover numerous cultural and historical monuments, beautiful medieval streets, palaces, and churches. It is one of the few cities in the world with two monuments under UNESCO protection, four historical fortresses, and two National Parks - Kornati and Krka.

For several years now, the city has been experiencing a true tourist boom thanks to its rich history, natural attractions nearby, and cultural heritage recognized worldwide. This has also been noticed by the producers of the popular 'Game of Thrones', making Šibenik a backdrop for this hit series.

However, Šibenik does not have mass tourism and still retains the charm of a small city full of potential.
