Šibenik is the oldest native town on the Adriatic, affectionately known as "Krešimir's town", as it is mentioned for the first time in 1066 in the donation deed of Petar Krešimir IV.

Walking through the enchanting Šibenik, you will discover numerous cultural and historical monuments, beautiful medieval streets, palaces, and churches. It is one of the few cities in the world that has two monuments under UNESCO protection, four historical fortresses, and two National Parks - Kornati and Krka.

For several years now, the city has been experiencing a real tourist boom thanks to its rich history, nearby natural attractions, and cultural heritage recognized worldwide. This has also been acknowledged by the producers of the popular 'Game of Thrones', as Šibenik has become a backdrop for this famous series.

However, Šibenik does not have mass tourism and still retains the charm of a small town full of potential.
