Privacy and Personal Data Processing Terms – Job Applications

2. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing
Personal data you provide via the job application form or email is processed solely for the purpose of processing your job application, conducting the selection process, and potential employment for an open position.
The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
3. What Data We Collect
Only the personal data you voluntarily provide is processed, including but not limited to: name and surname, contact details (email, phone number), CV, cover letter, information about education, work experience and skills, any other data you may include in your application.
4. Data Recipients
Your data will be accessible only to authorized employees of Palace Real Estate d.o.o. involved in the selection and hiring process. Data will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law.
5. Retention Period
We retain your data until the end of the recruitment process for the specific position or longer, up to 12 months, with your consent, for potential future employment.
After the specified period, all data will be permanently and securely deleted.
6. Your Rights
In accordance with GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, delete data ('right to be forgotten'), restrict processing, object to processing, and data portability.
You can exercise your rights by sending a request to: posao@palace.estate. If you believe your rights have been violated, you have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority – the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
7. Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse or destruction.
